Giant Hog Deck

Hi Guys  fn here And Today I am Going To Show You F2P Giant Hog Deck Arena 7+ About two weeks ago, I decided to make an alt to experiment with decks for my main account. I needed a deck with only commons and rares that was able to be acquired at low arenas. So I chose the Jason deck. However, since the deck sported an Elixir Collector, I needed to substitute that card.

So naturally, because the current meta in lower arenas is Witch/Giant/Bomber , I chose the Valkyrie.I was surprised at how well the deck worked, so I decided to see how far I could get with it. Evidently, it went pretty well.

Giant Hog Deck

Giant Hog Deck Strategy

The deck is played exactly like the original Jason deck you (probably) know and love. If you haven’t seen the Helsinki tournament and aren’t familiar with it, I recommend watching the tournament:

Although the majority of the deck’s strategy is demonstrated in the above videos, I will go into detail on the basic attack plan of this deck.

The main push in this Giant Hog Deck is Giant + Archers, although you’ll rarely be sending that exact combo across the bridge. Usually, you will augment this push with more cards based on your opponent’s strategy. For example, if you wanted to bait their Arrows or Zap, you might send in Spear Goblins as well. If they have an Inferno Tower, you might counter a push with Barbarians and then surround the Giant with them.

Your main defence will be Barbarians, Minion Horde, or Valkyrie. As mentioned earlier, Witches and Bombers are the dominant strategy in lower arenas right now. Luckily, the Valkyrie kills both (even at the same time) with ease. Remember to aggro the Witch or Bomber with your Valkyrie or your defence will be eliminated.

The deck excels at 2-crown victories. Once you have one tower, it is much easier to get the other. Generally, the strategy for 2-crowning with this deck is to counter a push, and once the leftover troops are about to cross the bridge, placing a Giant as the central, furthest point on the arena. This causes both the King and Arena Tower to aggro onto your giant, allowing your support to wreak havoc on the tower.

Up until this point, this deck essentially could’ve been a guide to the Jason deck. But here’s where it gets interesting:

With the addition of the new card, a secondary push becomes possible: Hog Rider + Valkyrie. This can be a useful secondary push if your Giant + Archer pushes are shut down constantly. It is essentially the Trifecta combo without the musketeer (Bifecta?). Arrows supplement this combo well, as Minion Horde is common in lower arenas.

Short Note on Giant Hog Deck :

Hog rider :Useful in taking out buildings that the Giant is preoccupied with. Also effective with Valkyrie and  Giant is the Main tank of the deck. Very powerful in the current meta. I Choose Valk Because it is Extremely useful at killing support troops behind tanks. Especially effective against Witches and Bombers.

Barbarians,Minion Horde And Archers:Powerful defensive troop that kills tanks quickly in addition to being strong in counterpushes. Can stop Hog Rider + Goblins/Spear Goblins from getting any damage on the tower. They Have High DPS  cards.

Spear Goblins : Valuable distraction/chip damage card. Often added to Archers and Giant.

Arrows :Well-rounded card that can kill Minions, Minion Hordes, and Skeleton Armies. More importantly, can kill higher-levelled cards.

Conclusion

That is the deck and its strategy. If you have any questions about This Giant Hog Deck, how to counter certain combos, please comment Down below and I will try to respond to the best of my ability.
